The product’s innovative formal approach comes from different high-tech application areas in the field of sports. The positive properties of textiles used in sport have been transferred to solve problems of mattresses and were reinterpreted in their application. The breathable material increases air circulation and ventilation of the immediate sleeping environment, which makes it easier to wick away moisture. Thus the material takes into account the aspect of hygiene. In addition to functionality, ecological compatibility is another important design component. The material is made of a polypropylene thread, which can easily be recycled and has convincing anti-allergenic properties.
