Martin Bergmann

Martin Bergmann was born in Lienz/East Tyrol in 1963. Having completed his education at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Martin Bergmann founded in 1995 with Gernot Bohmann and Harald Gründl the design company EOOS, focusing on the fields "Flagship stores," "Furniture" and "Research." Besides designing furniture, the company also develops, amongst others, concepts for stores of brand manufacturers or ideas for temporary public appearances of companies. Amongst the projects realised are appearances of A1/Vodafone Partner (Austria), Adidas (Germany) and Giorgio Armani Cosmetics (France/Italy). Clients in the fields Furniture and Research include manufacturers such as Duravit and Walter Knoll (Germany), Matteograssi and Moroso (Italy), Keilhauer (Canada), and Zumtobel (Austria). EOOS has received more than 40 international awards to date, including the prestigious Italian Compasso d'Oro design prize in 2004 for Kube, produced by Matteograssi and 2005 the design prize "the brightest light in design" for the "a1 lounge" flagship store designed for A1/Vodafone Partner.
