The sliding door break presented here ensures that sliding doors close softly and quietly. In a first step, the integrated air suspension system reduces the door’s velocity. Shortly before it closes fully a spring comes into play, which was stretched when opening the door and which now contracts automatically on the last centimetres. The sliding door break is the consistent supplementation of the sliding door technology and thus a perfect example of intelligent engineering and design.
