The aim in the development of the Kintec-Solution hinge joint was to adjust the motion of chair components such as armrests and headrests in the best possible way to the ergonomic requirements using a new technology. The advantage of the hinge joint is based on the involute gearing by which all segments are connected. Connecting the segments in this way has the effect that the hinge joint runs smoothly with any movement.
