Very rarely the centre of attention in the design process, the develop-ment of the castor – a furniture part focusing on functionality – has to take several safety aspects into consideration. Therefore the functional and unpretentious EMIRING castor was equipped with an innovative safety brake. This allows the user to set the braking force of the castor in such a way so as to meet individual safety requirements.
