Due to its physical characteristics moulded beech wood has previously been completely unsuitable for outdoor use. However, thanks to the innovative Belmadur® wood modification process it can now also be used in areas which have previously only been the domain of tropical hardwoods. The beech wood’s mouldability combined with its weatherproof quality, which corresponds to that of teak, is a precondition for creating a new language of forms in the outdoor furniture segment.
